Good Morning Everyone!

I went out for my walk this morning. We had a huge hail storm yesterday. It was the biggest hail I've ever seen, the size of quarters. So, there were lots of pinecones, leaves and branches to walk over on my walk.

Orang - I didn't walk Friday morning, it was pooring rain, so I climbed back in bed, bad me.

Acipenser - my dh is not only tall, but he's thin. Not a bad flaw though! LOL

My dh grilled steaks yesterday for Father's Day. I made him a german chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookies. I was sooo good, didn't eat any! I made my caulifower casserole again, mmm, it is sooo good!

Have a great day!

HI all!

Well, after a weekend of eating more carbs.. about double then what I had been eating all week, I did fine.. I went from 15-25 to I think it was 45 yesterday. Not sure why, but my blood sugars are staying at 140-160 for my fasting bg's..and not sure why... only thing I have changed is added flax oil supplement and the relacore... and of course increase exercise. I didnt take the relacore today, I may skip it entirely, cause of feeling 'off'.. maybe that is it, and maybe even that is upping bg's? I dont know.. gosh sometimes I get so dern tired of trying to figure it all out ya know, cause once I think I got a hold of it.. the plan seems to shift on me again... but.. I guess it's to be expected too.. maybe it's from the big whoosh I had as well.. <nods> oh.. thats right I remember reading a thread awhile ago, that some diabetics noted a increase in their bg's after a whoosh...

Hmm.. see how talking outloud can solve lifes dilemnas?

Now..what to do with a bored, tired hubby on a rainy monday?

:: blushes and grins :::::::: Ya' think?

LMAO~

Hi everyone.
Eating clean except for a small glass of white zinfandel last evening.
Menu was
Bfast-almond pancakes, 2 strips of bacon.
Lunch-corn beef ans swiss cheese salad with 1000 island dressing, berries with whipped cream
Dinner (out with a friend) steamed shrimp, the aforementioned vino, grilled veggies, salad, and dessert was a low sugar creamsicle at Dairy Queen (closest I could do to being legal )
When I got home I had some cheese.

(Also took a mile walk with my friend around the Daniel Boone Homestead. Yesterday's weather was one of the ten best days of the year!!)

Today so far has been:
5 AM 2 T peanut butter and coffee
9 AM Atkins bagel with cream cheese and pieces of salmon (lox)
12:30 Leftover steak with cheese, peppers, salad
berries w/ whipped cream

Still can't get into my Yahoo mail, they keep telling me their servers are fine. Well my friend can't get into it either on Netscape (I'm on IE) and some people on another board said they can't get in either. I sent them a note and told them whatever they elevated Friday night has a bug.

So in the meantime, I am using my alternate email. PM me if you need to.
Elaine

PS, new pix Dawn?

Dawn, I reinstalled the IE 6 service pack, dumped my cookies, temp files, defragged the PC and still can't get in. I can see my mail being delivered through the mail preview module but when I click on it it takes forever to open and then gives me a server error. This has only been happening since Saturday morning. I hadn't changed any internet settings. It's driving me crazy. My friend can't get into Yahoo groups or mail and she uses Netscape.

argh..very frustrating!! Try using a different venue in getting to the mail option.. if you normally click on mail icon at the top of yahoo, try clicking on one of the links in the menu listing, that says mail.. perhaps, just going in a different way will unlock it.. I did that last week when I had some issues with it, after they changed their 'look'.....

Ok, off for a Sunday drive...... ( its our sunday.. we both have sun/mon off together this week! )

Elaine-I am able (and have been able) to get into my yahoo email account, but I use internet explorer to do so. Maybe that is why I can get in? Hope you get it figured out!

At last I can get into my Yahoo mail but can't get my personalized page to load!!! Oh well. They sent a note back that it was, indeed, an internet issue, I just wrote them back to let them know I couldn't load My Yahoo. I DO go in through Internet Explorer. Whatever.....the home page isn't as crucial, I have my bookmarks stored on an alternate mail site too.
BUT I DIDN"T EAT THROUGH ALL THE AGGREVATION!!!!! This is GOOD

Post Leaving this forum

Hi ladies,

I'm sorry to tell you that I'm leaving this forum. I enjoyed posting here but I think I'm going to move to the Schwarzbein forum. I'm having difficulty with my blood levels and it is best I go to that forum.

Thanks,
Cindy
