Default tom and low carbing

I have been doing atkins for 2 months now. On the 6th day of induction I got my period, which was odd at the time because I have PCOS and it doesn't just
happen unless I was on BCP. Well basically I am doing the diet obviously to lose
weight, but also to get my hormones regular. Okay anyway the last period I had
was 9/7 and now its 10/27 and it doesn't seem like its coming anytime soon. My
question is how long does it take for things to become regular in my periods. I have heard about so many people becoming regular after starting and I have already lost 44 pounds. Should I just be patient and see what happens or is this just normal. Thanks for any replies.
