Wink Okay, so what goes in the cookie jar--now?

I used to keep dark chocolate pieces in the cookie jar!

Any ideas what to keep in it, now? By the way, getting rid of my beautiful vintage jar is NOT an option.

Help! --Betty

Coarse grained sea salt! It would look lovely!

Tea bags, Low-Carb bars, nuts, splenda packets.

I personally wouldn't put the sea salt in it unless you know that (if it is porcelain/pottery) that the glaze would withstand holding salt.

I keep those emergency low-carb bars in mind, don't eat them that often, but I have them there just in case.

Home made beef jerky! That's a great idea for mine. I'll have to see if I can find one I like.

Default Cookie Jar

Didn't people used to keep money in their cookie jars? The way the investment markets are going right now, it wouldn't be such a bad idea.

The salt: A great way to break the "reaching into the cookie jar" habit, and real quick!

I have lotsa tea bags. I could just keep them in ziploc bags inside the jar for freshness, huh?

The Jerky would work, too, but I have no jerky because it all has sugar in it. Does anyone know of pre-fab jerky w/o sugar in it? Though, I don't look forward to picking those tough meat threads out of my teeth.

Okay, so what else? C'mon SPers, I know there are a ton of you lurking, chime in! --Betty

Default chin hairs!

Betty, Betty.. have I got good news for you! My chin plucking time since low carbing has been reduced by at least 50%. Wait and see...it is simply amazing to spend so much less time in front of the mirror, plucking, poking and waxing. Another mysterious and wonderful aspect of this low carb WOL!!

Talking More good news from you all!

It sounds TOO GOOD to be true! Will the chin hairs really go away eventually?!?! Thank you so much for posting this info. How long have you been SPing, Twiggy?

That would be the icing on the cake for me. I really really really really really hate my chin hairs. They are pesky and cause me much grief. I pluck, they come back. I refuse to do anything else with them other than plucking, but I have thought about electrolysis.

I am so glad I started this cookie jar thread--I have found out about a great jerky source and now about the disappearing chin hairs! Please, more people, post, post, post! :lol --Betty

I'm with Swede, put money in the jar. For your new wardrobe! or a well deserved vacation! I have my empty jelly belly jar sitting at home all by itself and that's o.k.

I don't know about chin hair but my skin sure has cleared up! No more breakouts! What a miracle! My moods are better now too and my energy level is steady. Oh, one other item I no longer has gas from poor combining of food. The carbs must have really done a number on my tummy!

Take care fellow SPer's,
Maureen
