Default 4 Months Smoke Free, Now Can't stop junk foods,

I've been smoking over 20 years, and stopped, January 2009, Never once cheated. I still wear the nicotine patch, but I am so happy that I finally gave up one of the worse addictions in the world.
Now I took on another addiction, binge-junk food eating. I seem to have slowed down alittle in the last 2 weeks on the junk food but I'm finding it so hard to stick to my low carb foods and proper eating.

My suggestion would be to stop eating anything that is sweetened. It isn't uncommon to replace one addiction with another. Alcoholics will often replace alcohol with sugary foods or cigarettes.

I had a similar problem to yours, even though I quit smoking more than 9 months ago. I was going crazy with artificially sweetened candy and similar junk. A friend from here on the forums coaxed me into giving up all sweeteners, whether natural and artificial, about 2 weeks ago. It was strange at first, and I was surprised to find myself 'grieving' the absence of sweets in my diet. Now, though, I hardly ever even think about them. I find that, in general, I'm less hungry every day, as well.
