After they are all asleep I love to make myself a cup of black decaf and unwind with the internet. But I tell myself one cookie would be fine. But I always ending up having 4 which is 28 carbs (7 carbs a cookie).
I know I should go out and get the 90% cacao Lindt chocolate and have that to satisfy my chocolate craving at night, but the cookie really hits the spot. I wish I could have a few cookies at night, still lose weight, and not feel so guilty.

Sounds like an addiction to me - My dad was an alcoholic and when he tried to give up the booze (a regualr occurrence) he'd often sneak downstairs after everyone was a sleep and have a "night cap"!!! Either you give up and lose those cravings or you dont lose weight is the harsh reality!!
That said, try some of the alternatives posted on here and see if you can find a compromise...... by the way, I didnt mean to come across as harsh
