Smile Interval walking

Even though I regularly walk 4 -5 times a week, I put to practice the interval walking today suggested in Supercharged book. I only walked for 25 minutes as opposed to my regular daily walk of 40 minutes, but it was a great, energetic walk!

I am really enjoying this plan so far! The variety of foods is wonderful and I am not hungry, which is great! I especially am loving the ricotta dessert at the end of my supper (ricotta, vanilla, Splenda) -- it is so rich and fulfilling! And I'm happy to see the scale start going DOWN again!

Thanks for letting me give praise!

Good for you on the scale movement!!

Yes, it does give us many great choices that I had never even eaten prior to doing this.

Welcome and congrats on the move to interval training! It's much better for weight loss than lots of endless cardio as you may have been told. When you get ready, add some strength training to the mix. I can suggest DVD's for you if you don't go to the gym. MANY great ones out there.

Congratulations! I run in the 10-13 minute mile range but suffer mightily even just walking 20 minute miles (and I walk all the time, just slowly). Interval walking must be a great workout! Enjoy!
