Default dry eyelids?

I've developed really dry skin on my eyelids and cracks in the crease that sting when sweat or soap touches them? Has anyone else developed skin problems while doing LC. or might this just be the change of seasons?

I'm 62. I take vitamin E and D but nothing else. I have no other health issues. Got some Avene eye cream for sensitive eyes today to see if that helps

I had a terrible skin condition that lasted from May 2015-Jan 2016. Nobody ever diagnosed it as anything but allergic dermatitis. Face and neck. Through mis-diagnosis from MANY doctors, and using prescriptions and things I read about on the internet, it escalated from simple to really dangerous.

Still don't know if it was this WOE that caused the problem.

I was getting dry fingertips and flaky skin and even had a bout with gout and I'm pretty sure it was all due to dehydration. A couple weeks ago I incorporated minimum daily fluid requirement into my plan and the symptoms cleared up.

I also ran across this:

Thanks Bill. Interesting information. Come to think of it my water intake has reduced dramatically since the weather turned colder. Minimum water intake certainly won't hurt. Will target for more and see if the eye cream helps moisturize.

Do you eat fatty fish? Or take fish oil? Good for inflammation.

I'm also wondering about magnesium, as it's involved in so many functions in the body. Eyelid specific dry skin would be an odd correlation, but you never know. When I was magnesium deficient I had dry, itchy skin that cleared up in ONE day of high quality magnesium supplementation.
