Default Keeping Me Honest

So I decided to start a gym log. I recently received the WATP tapes for my birthday and I am starting them tonight. I am going to start the one mile tape today and see how it goes. If it isn't too challenging, then I'll do the 2 Mile tomorrow, etc.

I figure if I post my exercise, I will keep myself honest about my workouts and actually do it. My problem is I lack motivation to get started. Once I get the workout clothes on though I am usually okay. As long as I can keep going I will be okay.

So, Today's plan is WATP 1-mile tape with 2 pounds weights (they came with the set).

Wish me luck

Did my 1-Mile WATPs with 2 pound weights that came with the set. It was a bit easy...so I may go with the 2 Mile tonight. I guess it really depends on the time I have tonight. If I only have 20 minutes then I will just do the 1-mile. If I have double that time, then I will do the 2-mile. Right now the important thing is to keep a schedule and stay on track with my exercising, you know get into a routine and stay there.

Did WATPs 2Mile last night with 2 pound weights. The tape was 30 minutes long. I really like it though. I thought the one mile was to easy for me and I was right. The 2 mile was a better work out and it kept my heart rate up for nearly 30 minutes...isn't that what you need for a good cardio workout?

I don't know what I will do tonight. I may take today off and start again tomorrow. I wonder if I should do two workouts when I can? Maybe the 2 Mile in the morning and the 1 Mile in the evening? Any benefits to that???

Did not do my second workout yesterday. We got home too late and it was either workout and no dinner or dinner.

I didn't do my tapes this AM either. I'll do them this evening.

Same as yesterday. I see that I have done my tape now for 4 days this week!!! Monday thru Friday, with Tuesday Off. NOW If I could just keep going.

I am not sure what to do this weekend though. We are going out of town to visit my ILs for Christmas. I'll have to see if DH is up to going for an early morning walk. I doubt it, but we'll see. Does walking in the mall while Christmas shopping count? LOL

Default Dusting Off...

FINALLY I've managed to get my butt into gear! DH and I joined a gym on the way home so we don't have excuses

Last night:
15 Minutes-walk/jog on elevated track
12 minutes-stationary bike varying levels up to level 4

Stretches

Not too shabby for someone who hasn't worked out since APRIL! AHHH!!!!
