Default 2 questions on stomach flab go away

I have 2 questions that I hope I get some anwers to
my 1st question is , I understand that there is no such thing as " spot reduction" so is it true then that let say I would ride a stationary bikle for 15 minutes I may not burn the fat off my legs , but it could come of my stomach instead? and question #2 I do 2 kinds of abdominal exercises one is a machine where you stand with your back against it and hold a pully in each hand and bend forward like you are bowing and the other is a crunch machine, which one is the best to use ?, without causing the stomach to protrude outwards like I have heard can happen with some abdominal exercises.

Yes, this is true. Furthermore, if you concentrate on building up muscle on your arms and back and legs, you will become more metabolically active, which will ALSO burn the fat off your stomach. But unlike cardio, which will do it while you are training, but stop when you finish, resistance exercise keeps burning it off when you've finished, and this can continue for DAYS.

They are both good. But concentrate on sucking your navel toward your spine for EVERY REP. This will prevent the "outie", which you do not desire.

Yup, they're both good. Do the resistance first, of course.

But there's a saying amongst bodybuilders - "abs are made in the kitchen". As your bodyfat drops, your abs will show. Keep working them, and they'll be there once you shed the fat.
