Hi everyone

I posted an intro in the general area but since we have this great Aussie/Kiwi section I think I should say Hi over here as well

So I'm new to this whole Low Carb stuff and trying to absorb all the info is daunting but I a coping with some help from Jaddles and some tips from Rosebud so far I am doing ok

I have a heep of weight to loose and now I have the motivation to do it which has been missing on several of the more recent attempts to shift the weight

Anyway I live in Newcastle, just north of Sydney, I'm in my late 20's (actually I am 30 later this year but I am dealing with being 29 right now ) I grow and love orchids, have a wonderful partner and a adorable cat who love me unconditionally which should make this change in my life easier with their support

I am having such a great time all over these forums.. I can spend hours here everyday easily....I have made cheesecakes, asked for advice and given advice....it is a great place for support.I Hope that you are enjoying your low carb experience an dfind these wonderful people as valuable as so many others do1

Welcome to a great website. I've only been here since just after Xmas but have really enjoyed it. There are some wonderful supportive people here and lots of helpful information.
I too love gardening and have a few orchids. They are just a side line as roses and cottage gardens are my first love.

Hello Fiona, I have just joined today and looking forward to losing weight too. This way of eating is great and the food yummy. I live in the Lake Macquarie area which is not far from you so we will be shopping etc in the same areas. I am heaps older than you and I also have a beautiful cat who will be 22 years old in May. I'm glad you have found here, it is great and get yourself a journal going they are wonderful to write in and wonderful to read from - they are inspirational especially when you need that little bit of extra support
