Default Hi, All...hope you're having a "God" day!

Hi; I'm new here and googled for a forum that supports low-carb endeavors. My daughter is having surgery in May and was told to begin on the Atkins diet for the next 2 mo. I told her I'd support her by "doing it" with her ... so here I am!

Since I'm overweight, I know this won't hurt me and will probably be a help to me in many ways. The program we are beginning in 2 days is called "nutritional ketosis". I've been doing quite a bit of researching on it and have found that if done properly, it can be carried out as a way of eating for the rest of your life and has great potential when it comes to clearing the system of toxins and more.

That's my "story"; what's your's?
