Wink Hello all!

I'm ready to get started on my new lifesyle. I glad I found this web site to help me through the tuff times. I'm not new to the low carb eating plans. I just can't seem to be able to stay with them.
I like to lift weights. I powerlifted for about 2 years and did pretty good. Won some events and all I have to show for it is a bad back.. I think if I shed some weight my back will get better. I about 265 now and would like to get down to 225. I think I would feel really good at that wieght.
I hope to hear from all of you. Thank you

Hello, I started the Atkins diet 9-6-04 at 271 lbs today 12-6-04 I am 229 lbs. I go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week for about 1 hour doing the treadmill and some light weights. I know you can do it too. I want to reach 175 someday. Make sure to drink your water and dont cheat and You WILL do it.

Force yourself to stick to it even if you are finding yourself having to focus on the forcing every minute. It can be a tough battle but you will feel so good about yourself and powerful and in control. You can do it!!!
