Default Perimenapause and low carbing

Hi, I have been fit and very active my whole life. I'm 48 and my hormones are a mess. I have lost control of my body and am hoping low carb, will help with my hormone fluctuations. I'm on day three and so far so good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your post stuck out above everyone else's I have read because I am 48 as well and menopausal. All I can say is this weight gain and hot flashes suck!! I am just starting my weight loss journey. I weigh more than I ever have, at 242 lbs. I have always been around 160-170 until a year and half ago, and I have gained all my weight.

I would love to have you as a buddy! Good luck in your goals!!
