I'm just trying to accept the fact that maybe 170 is where my body wants to stay. I'm going to get myself some winter clothes that fit and flatter me right now, and if they get loose on me, I'll wear them loose and/or go shopping again.

I'm going to focus on eating wholesome foods; meats, eggs, fish, nuts, veggies, and small amounts of fruits and grains (and not everyday) and focus on how different foods make me feel, and not get overly worked up about weight loss- which can get very frustrating.

Ruth I wished I only weighed 170. That would be ideal for me since I am 5ft. 7 inches tall. I am now around 235 so i am coming down, slow but down.

I to eat healthy and as much low carb as I can. I like whole grains to and whole wheat and fresh garden vegetables instead of the store bought one. We have a garden so we grow most our vegetables.
I don't eat red meat to often, most we eat pork and chicken and fish or other seafoods. we live on the Gulf of Mexico so we get alot of fresh seafood here.

I think if your weight is staying where it is it could be that your body needs to be that size. I think our bodies will stop losing the weight when it gets to its ideal weight. I also do not think our bodies want to weigh the same as it did when we were in high school either because we are older. I am 63 yrs old now so I know I will never be that 135 I once was back then. If I can make it to 170 like you are that will be ok with me.

I think you ought to get you some new fall clothes that fit the size you are now, I bet you will look great.

Do you ever make whole wheat pancakes? My husband bought home some whole wheat flour and wanted me to make him some pancakes out of it, I was just wondering how they tasted.
Wonder if I can make muffins out of it or bread!

See you later.
