Default My BG is backwards

I have no explanation but when i get up my BG can be 120-130, after a large dinner it can be 90

I seem to be backwards to all expected values, any idea what this means

Is it just bad testing or bad data ? ive seen this now for numerous times where my BG seems to be lowest after a big meal

In answer to Marvin's question, http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=472078
Ken lists some common solutions to Dawn Phenomenon. Intermittent fasting, exercise, walking, not snacking, etc...and most important...time and patience.

You have only been eating low carb three and half weeks after years of developing insulin resistance and high blood sugars. Hang in there, you are doing great.

The highest my BG seems to get is 130 ish the lowest is 85ish, do either of these numbers set off any alarm bells or major concerns

Not that these are ideal, but the new 2016 ADA range for pre-meal blood sugar is 80-130, so you will not hear any alarm bells from your doc. They even allow post meal up to 180...that should be an alarm bell but isn't.

Keep on keepin on LC and test various foods and timing. Try eating dinner earlier, no snacking. See if dairy spikes your blood sugar. Again, you only just started and are in an acceptable range. Take your time finding the LC foods that work for you.
