Default anyone phase 1 (again?)

Hi- I've been doing a vegan diet for a while (the irony right? but I was doing it pretty much JUST for weight loss reasons) and I'm ready to do this. My sister has lost 30 lbs in 6 months doing sb and loaned me the book. I'm so excited to do this- the food looks so delectible compared to the raw vegan thing.

Just wondering if anyone else is in the beginning of t his and can be a "buddy" of sorts in this thread. I'd love a litlte encouragement.

Hi and Welcome!

While I'm not new nor doing strictly phase I, I do float between all the phases now to manage my weight. Its truly a wonderful plan as we can tailor it to our dietary needs and likes.
Feel free to join our weekly weighin thread. You can meet our beachers there.
I hope that you do find some buddies to join for support. A way we do that here is to start a journal and journal daily to yourself and others.

Have you found the food lists and meal plan charts in our weigh in thread yet?
Will you try to do SB being vegan or are you now willing to eat animal products again?

Default me too! (phase one again)

Hi Amway,

I just restarted Phase 1 last tuesday: so I am only about a week into it. I enjoy this way of eating because I don't get hungry between meals

I'm a lurker most of the time! There is great info on this forum!

Good luck to all us!

well hi! I actually forgot I started this thread, oops.

I wanna know what you guys are eating for breakfast. I'm SOOO over eggs. My sister says she eats eggs every day for breakfast and I so don't like the idea of that.

I'll behonest and say that I caved on some carby notsogoodferya foods over the weekend adn I'm back at square one.

what kind of exercise you guys doing? any?

I'm not sure about this- where might I find htis?

Breakfast can be anything...it does not have to be eggs. Leftovers from dinner the night before? Tuna salad with a green salad

So far I have been eating eggs and Canadian Bacon for breakfast, prepared several different way as omelet with cheese and sometimes as Softboiled eggs, then Hardboiled, with veggie thrown in the mix, Yeah, I love eggs, heart healthy dont believe the hype that they cause very bad cholesterol. You could also eat some ricotta for breakfats, cottage cheese so many different options.
As for exercise I walk every day Monday through Friday for 1.5 miles.

Default Brekkie

I'm having this tomorrow - without sugar of course (xylitol instead) and with lemon zest not organe. There are a few recipes out there for baked ricotta w/ rhubarb too. Rhubarb is considered a veggie which is great!

For breakfast, especially when I'm short of time, I'll have some Kroger CarbMaster yogurt, only 3 net carbs and higher in protein than many other kinds. For a little crunch, I'll mix in a tablespoon of raw, sliced almonds. If I'm really hungry, I may mix in a little cottage cheese. I top it off with some V8 juice.
