Question Rotten cold, should I do my workout?

I was all pumped to hit the gym today, but yesterday I got whalloped with a cold...the sore throat has settled down, but I'm coughing goo and my sinuses are swollen shut. Should I still hit the gym and do what I can? I could still do weights...cardio would be hard. I'd really appreciate feedback...I don't want to use my cold as an excuse not to go, but if it is a genuinely bad idea to work out when sick then I will give it a pass. Opinions anyone?

Now it's a moot point. I should have been finished work at 2PM, enough time to get to the gym. But one of my students showed up THREE HOURS LATE for his final exam (he got confused over the exam times) and I've taken pity on him and agreed to let him write past the regular stop time. Sigh...I feel worse now too...I think the only place I'll go after this is to bed. Hope everyone else is feeling good!
