Default meat and eggs success

So I was stalled for about three weeks and decided that I wanted to quit. However I started reading the board and figured that it may be better to move in a more positive direction, so I tried doing meat and eggs last Wednesda. Thurs morning - scale still came up between 166-167. Friday, same deal - stuck. I decided to stick to it thru the weekend and whoosh! Sat 165, Sun 164-165. So happy right now!!!!!

Tonight is my holiday party and I don't want to blow it. I ordered the steak and I will just not eat anything else, maybe some greens.

Good Job!
Not ever quitting is the key to success! Isn't it great that you didn't quit and came here to find a solution to break your stall. Meat and egg fast is good for that short term.

Keep up the good work!!

..... and also look forward to OWL phase of Atkins.

I thought I'd been very careful about my carbs. Eating high percentages of fat. Scale up 3 lbs. this morning. Quite discouraging. I had a mini goal of 5 lb loss this week. I discovered almond flour crackers...could that be the culprit? But, I sure haven't eaten 3 pounds worth!

I would say that almond flour crackers are the culprit. Something I've learned doing this WOL - the weight gain isn't in proportion to what you eat. Darned sugar!!

These almond crackers are nothing but almond flour, egg white, and a pinch of salt. No sugar. They taste sooo good! And satisfy my "crunch craving"!
