I would stop drinking at least an hour before you go to bed. I have a 5 year old and we use that rule of thumb. LOL. It's good for me too.

Nightime snacking is my biggest contributor to weight. I am on day 5 of induction and have been sipping on hot tea w/ a packet of splenda and a dribble of cream. It lasts me about 30 minutes, satisfies that desire for sweet and keeps my busy! (Doesn't help the bathroom issue though!)

stumbled on this thread and think it's very cute.

RE: not having eggs... ew. I HATE eggs. That was and has been one of the most difficult things about this WOL for me, but my new favorite is a Pancake BOWL MUFFIN: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...t=223612&page=5.

It's soooooooo good and filling and soooooooooo good!!!

Here's my question: How can I learn portion control? Ugh. I think I'd be so much smaller if I just didn't rely so much on food!

Do you like chese? I find a tomato and 1/2 a cucumber with an ounce of cheese is great. Sometimes I add a 1/2 of an avocado. Another great thing is a lettuce wrap. I can't handle a lot of protein in the morning. I do make a veggie quiche with a handful of spinach, 1/4 bell pepper, a few sliced mushrooms and 1 egg. It's not so overwhelming. I don't think I could handle 3 eggs for breakfast everymorning.

superaunt.... what i would do is drink some water before you eat...make your dinner plate as you would normally and then scrape half of everything on your plate back into the pot...use a smaller plate so it looks more full.....and make sure you drink water with and after your meal so you feel full...if you want seconds....make yourself wait 20 minutes and if you still want some then get the amount you would feed a child
