I just went out and got The power of protein cookbook last week by Chris Smith. She is a fellow Queenslander so I can get all the ingredients and the recipes are absolutely divine!

I think she has done other low carb cook books too so I'll be looking out for those.

Hi Jude,

I just look through bookshops regularly, and over the last few years have found the following which I've found useful:

- Low-Carb Meals in Minutes, by Linda Gassenheimer
- Low Carbohydrate, High Flavour Recipes, by Fiona Carns
- The Big Book of Low-Carb Recipes, by Nicola Graimes
- Kitchen Doctor Low Carbohydrate Cooking for Health - contributing editor: Anne Charlish.

I can't tell you if they are all still available, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye out.
Of course, do remember you can also find loads of recipes right here in our Low Carb Recipe Forum.

Roz

Ahhh I'm surrounded by Briss-ians!!! lol

See your state in a couple of weeks!

I don't use any of the cookbooks I have nowadays. I have one old-fashioned one I just substitute where necessary and live off Linda's Low Carb site
