Heh heh, turns out I know the fellow (David Threadgill) whose lab the report, "Diet Success May Depend on your DNA," came out of. He and my hubby (also a geneticist) are old friends. Good guy, good scientist, and honest about his work and results. Of course, they're doing studies in mice and such studies aren't always terribly transferable to human beings.
Still, we here on this forum have been saying all along that everybody has to find the WOE that works for them. Most of us just happen to believe that low carb works better for more people who have gotten FAT on a SAD diet than sticking with the SAD diet or trying to survive on fewer calories while getting more exercise.
