Default Prodigal locarber has come back

Hello again everyone,
I first posted on this site many years ago. I experienced wonderful success following a Low Carb way of life. I am back after having gained some weight and have been following the Adkins Diet for 3 weeks now. The results are the same now as they were then... steady weight loss and a renewed sense of well being.
I have lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks and my present weight is 166 pounds.
It's good to be back. dankar

And about time, too! Welcome back. Hope you'll continue to enjoy the benefits of LCE--not to mention the benefits of this excellent conversation.

Best wishes.

Does anybody have a link to a list containing the carb content of most common foods? Thanks

Well, yes. The MyP.L.A.N. tracker up there in the green bar links to a list.

I use Fitday to keep my food diary (when I keep one). Same deal.

Probably if you put "carbohydrate counts" in Google or another browser, you'll come up with some other resources.

Thank You! I tried to Google it but got tired of being directed to sites that wanted to sell me something.

Like Barb, I use a tracker, My Fitness Pal.
But if you want a list by common type, i.e. vegetables, fruits, etc. and in net carbs, DitchTheCarbs has nice graphics, such as: http://www.ditchthecarbs.com/2017/03/21/carbs-in-fruit/

And speaking of Google, all you need do is enter (or ask it) "Carbs In x" and the answer will pop up. It has every common food I have tried.
