Default Fribro lowcarb and 20 to go!

In round two of my low carb -- atkins -- woe --- I have finally gotten to twenty to go!
Started this three years ago, dropped 38 lbs in 5 months --- then fell back on carbs, but only gained back 15.
The worst part is, I have fibro and arthritis. While I was losing the weight, I ended up OFF all of my meds -- my dr was amazed and didn't really understand it, but found it hard to argue with.
Of course, now I am on ALL of them again.. but hope to hit the magic combination again!
This time -- 2 month in --- am losing slowly, of course the closer i get to goal -- but still on meds. Can not figure out the difference, however I am just this week starting to sleep better --even with med i don't sleep much or well --- and fibro is NOT in bad stage, but arthritis is acting up -- may be the cardio I have added in to my training.
I do weights -- heavy -- 2-3x week, cardio 3x, was spinning 2x but have switched to yogo 2x ---and walk most places -- in last 4 weeks have lost 4.75lbs and about 4 cm --- so am feel very positive and focused right now!
Want to be able to wear size 12 AGAIN

FYI -- 44 years old, female, 200-170-150 My doctor hopes it takes me one year to finish the 20 -but i am aiming for labour day!

Hi Tina, welcome aboard.

Congrats on your weight-loss, but most of all, for feeling good.

hi tina welcome! you're doing really well and your health certainly sounds like it's improving. it is true that the less you have to lose, the slower you'll lose. there's a fibro forum that you should check out. i hope to hear more from you.
