Default A straight shot

It's only been three weeks since I started back exercising, but I had to share a revelation I had tonight. I realized that for the first time in a great while I could look straight down my chest and see everything all the way down past my waist.

This is probably a guy thing, but to be able to look down and not have any obstructions but what are supposed to be there (ie no big gut hiding things) is a wonderful sight. To be flat is a good thing for a guy.

Now, I still have some leftover laundry on my two-pack abs, but it's becoming more and more like a semi-flat bicycle tire rather than an over-inflated monster truck tire. I'm trying to subdivide the one keg abs into at least a couple of singles. 6-pack would be great, but I'd settle for a couple of 16-ouncers at the moment.

Even through the scale is pretty much just sitting there, I'm getting firm underneath the remaining fat and I'm losing inches. That's what's important.

Just had to share.

Congrats on firming up! My scale is not moving either, we just gotta ignore that for now and watch our muscles grow!

Hey, Pookalee. Your right, I'm pretty much ignoring the stall in the scale because I'm not stalling in my body. That's why I disagree with your sig line above. My slinging iron does have something to do with clothes, I can wear smaller one! Wooo Hoooo!!

I'm going to the doctor today for a physical and purposely wore my way-too-big pants. It's the first time I've been to this doctor and so it will be interesting to see what his reaction is to my way of eating as well as my weight loss and muscle gain. It will determine whether or not he ever sees me again.

My weight hasn't changed in 3 months. My thighs are down an inch, and my back is UP an inch. Screw the scale!
