I'm not familiar with the "Alkaline diet", but many of us here have what is considered high protein. There are a lot of people here that are still trying to follow lc with low fat, but I think the majority of us are higher fat with a concentration of essential fats, healthy fats, saturated fats.

Why do you think you're posting in the wrong place?

Actually, the Drs. Eades usually refer to Protein Power as an 'adequate protein, controlled carb' eating plan. We eat higher protein than the USDA recommendations, but unless you're body building and protein loading, eating 1 to 1.5gms protein per kilo isn't really 'high protein,' except by comparison to very outdated government nutritional recommendations.

That i much to high, before my injury i was a natural bodybuilder with a passion.

I followed the principle of 1.5 g of protein per pound of bodyweight and was eating near 250g to 300g a day at a bodyweight of 220 pounds.

My bodyfat at that time was very high 23% if not higher.

And i was to damn heavy.

I am not on a diet right now but more on a quest to change my damn eating habits, being able to cut sugar out (sweets and all that are totally worthless to your health and body).

I plan to go back to the gym this summer, my diet is simple i got some flax oil
natural flavour whey protein, fiber supp, meat, whole eggs.

I still keep my veggies broccoli, califlour and spinach, good multi vitamin supp.

I dont beleive in cheat days, cheat days for me often mean a way to get back to bad habits.

I guess that my plan is protein diet, i read protein power in 2000 and it was a great plan.

I dont beleive in saturated fats, bacon, saussages and all that cheese.

Weight is going down real real good, 203 and this morning i am at 188, all i do is follow the rules and walk a bit.

RealDeal, glad your improvised 'plan' is working for you. You may remember from your reading of Protein Power in 2000 that the Drs. Eades don't advocate avoiding saturated fats, bacon, sausages or cheese--as long as those things are not heavily processed and full of sugars, nitrites and chemicals. You might want to take a look at Dr. Mike's recent blog entries, explaining why his support of intelligent saturated fat consumption is still standing the tests of arguments years after PP was published. You can get to his blog here.

I plan on going back to weight training has soon has the back gets better, when i do i will switch to a regular diet meaning in the morning i will eat oatmeal and stick to the low glycemic carbs.

I plan to cut out all carbs after 5pm and have a light supper.

I will be training in the morning. I know now that sugar is so bad for everyone and is the worst thing to have around.

I cannot beleive how well this plan is working right now, and since its going good might has well stick to it and lose the rest of the lovehandles, lower back fat (YAGGGGGG) and gets some bodyfat % down.

So~when i start training this summer i will have lost a lot of bodyfat and useless weight.
