there is a thread in this forum called "Low Carb Recipes" and there doesn't seem to be recipes in it, just pictures of food, am I missing something?

I think you are looking in the gallery section. The link for the recipe area is on the active low carber forum page. I would link for you but I'm on my phone now.

Do feel free to ask people to please post a recipe to any particular meal that you like. That's what I do.

Me too! I've never been able to get the search function to work for me, so if I see a picture that looks interesting, I google the recipe name. Something usually comes up!

Even easier, after you pick the section of the Recipe Forum that Blume linked for you, the first post (or sticky) is Contents of that sub-forum. Each Recipe is indexed there and Hyper-linked. See a recipe you might like...just tap/click on it and you go to the right thread. Brilliant!

I am beginning to feel myself getting skinnier (or less bloated or something like that, I'm looking forward to getting on a scale).

Do you try Search > Advanced Search? The first search window is kind of pointless and never works, I always have to click "Advanced Search" when it opens.

It's been a while since I last tried to search something, so I don't remember. But I'll keep that in mind.

Just FYI: Use the google search. Hit "search" then "Advanced search" then in the Google box type what you're looking for.

Or go to google.com and type whatever you're searching and then this: site:lowcarber.org

I just added some of my recipes to the recipe section...hope you all enjoy them
