I moved about two months ago and packed up my scale. I've never unpacked it.

I have weighed myself once, in a store, and it was great to have lost 15 pounds rather than 1, which is what I'd be looking at every week if I had the scale around.

I like weighing myself everyday because I update my weight on my profile. I like to see my progress in %. However, I vowed to put it away for 5 days if I dont loose any.

I have yet to kick in to ketosis, I'm wondering if its even going to happen for me. It didnt last time. Oh well

I do need to stop weighing myself. The scale does not match my clothe size. I am in a size 8, however, the scale shows 158 lbs. Normally, I wear an 8 when I weigh 145 lbs. Go figure. The scale can be so deceiving. I am 23 lbs. from goal. I am thinking about changing my goal to 140-145. I guess I will see at what weight my body feels comfortable without having to diet.

Thumbs up Scales

Hi everyone,

I am new to this web site, but not to weight yo-yo. I personally need to step on the scales daily. It just keeps me on the straight and narrow. However I also use measurement too.

The question to weigh or not to weigh has to be a personal decision. Well good luck to all!

I stopped weighing daily, I'm losing way too slowly to not end up discouraged and frustrated. Now I weigh once a week, and I'll be getting measured again next week - I haven't been measured since last month.

I'm actually looking forward to it because I can really tell my clothes are fitting loser, so the results should be good.

If I was still weighing everyday, I'd know I'd just be frustrated.

But whatever works for each person is all good!

Dont feel bad, I weighed in at 155 yesterday morning and was ecstatic. When I called my husband to come see, I couldnt beleive I weighed even 1/2 less than that. So I started yesterday at 154.5 and when I weighed myself this morning I had gone up half a pound.

I ate at Chili's last night. I have a feeling the salad dressing had carbs. It felt that way in my mouth. Oh well, I still did better than I ever have while eating out. That 1/2 a pound is depressing.

Another confirmed scale watcher here. I also can vary 5 lbs from morning weigh in to night time. But I use it more to hopefully keep tabs if it goes up and stays there. I haven't lost a lb since March 21st but have gone down 3 pant sizes since I startedin December. The past couple of days my weight hasn't varied from morning weigh in to night time weigh in, and yesterday morning I was down a lb and today 3 more. I think that qualifies as a woosh!!!!
