Unhappy Slow weight loss...

I have been following this diet to the T, and have still only lost 3 lbs in 2 weeks. It is kind of frustrating, but I am sticking to it. Does anyone have any ideas on a way to speed it up?

I just finished week 4 and I actually gained 2 lbs back. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. My clothes feel loser. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, unfortunately it happens to all of us. This too shall pass. Keep at your great work, obviously something is working if your clothes are looser and the weight is coming off "eventually". If it continues, re-evaluate what your doing, or possibly not doing, that might cause the stall.

What ever you do, DON'T give up. Have a great day, and the best of luck.

Unhappy Meat and Eggs...

Do you think eating just meat and eggs for a couple of days will help the weight to start coming off? I am only on week 5, and need to get out of this slump. Any ideas?

Just relax....the weight and the inches are coming off....be grateful. I started on November 17th, and I thought the weight would just pour off (kind of like it piled ON), but it's taking a little while. But, I feel better, so I'm just going with that. Just don't give up. Like others have said...exercise is the key. And drink your water!! Good luck! You can do it!!

Having points of time where you don't loose weight is perfectly normal. Have you been measuring? I lost inches and didn't loose pounds for a month and it drove me crazy because I focused on the scales! Just keep living low carb without cheats, drink lots of water, and increase your exercise! And measure if you haven't yet! And be patient!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I bought some low carb wheat tortillas, and was thinking of introducing them into my diet, has anyone tried eating those. Do you know if they can stall weight loss??

I know, why don't you open a Journal and each day record what you eat, drink, and your exercise and then folks here can help you figure out what is going on! Here is the link to get you going! It's really easy! Now, don't forget to record your measurements because there will be times you will loose inches and not a blessed pound or even an ounce!

The tortillas...I would exercise great caution in eating those because they are high in carbs! I, personally, don't count the fiber out simply because I feel a carb is a carb! You, ideally, want to keep to as natural as you can when eating. There is a great site that has Induction and OWL guidelines that I have followed since August and it hasn't hurt my weightloss! www.atkins.com I also pasted them over into my Journal which you can find around page 4 or 5! I should remember that! Best of luck!
