Got a spiral sliced ham, that and the frozen veggies we already have should hold us for quite a while. Gotta find that in-a-minute cheese sauce recipe; ham always makes me want cheese sauce on the cauliflower & broccoli.

Do you know the definition of eternity? Two people, and a ham

UPDATE:

from food.com

YIELD
1 cup

1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons heavy cream
2 ounces grated cheddar cheese
2 ounces cream cheese
1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
1 dash Worcestershire sauce

If I half everything, it might just work...

Is there a new line of sous vides out there? A few people on my twitter feed just got them, too.

I had a lazy afternoon "snack/dinner" of pork rinds dipped in kefir cheese. SO wasn't hungry for an actual dinner later, so I just made myself some jicama fries for "second snack/dinner."

I'm good at making kefir but not good at consuming it... I keep turning it into kefir cheese to get rid of it.

So you put them both in this plastic pouch and boil them?

Haha!

I did up a pork stir fry with bagged broccoli slaw, 1/4 sliced onion, sesame oil cut with olive oil, chili garlic sauce, tamari, and splenda. It turned out pretty good.

I put my Single Serving Cheese Sauce in the recipe section:

Tiny Cheese Sauce

This is so easy to prepare when I am nuking the veggies, add ham and it's a really nice, quick meal in a bowl.

Yeah, I started buying broccoli slaw when I was single. It lasts a while in the fridge without spoiling, and it's good for several different side dishes. I could have it several days in a row, different ways, and not get sick of it.

For tonight, I have some eye of round steaks in the crockpot with some carrots and onions, submerged in broth. The meat comes out really nice and tender cooked this way.

Light tonight. Organic field greens, hot calabrese, fresh mozzarella (now a staple) with a hemp oil/red wine vinegar/dill dressing with onion.

I used to think I didn't like salads. But what I didn't like was boring!

I love broccoli slaw!

Your salad sounds good. It's way too hot way too long here - so a supper salad is ideal for me and I can sleep well even when I eat late. I wait for late fall/winter to make heartier dishes when it actually gets chilly for a few short months...

The owner of the dogs/house has been here for 2 weeks - last night I made a quiche he requested - GF is vegan and doesn't do eggs and he misses quiche, so I did a mushroom/spinach/onion one with Jack cheese...I just got a Marie Callenders premade pie crust and I didn't eat that part.

Tonight - I am not sure. Will have to assess what is left in the fridge...

Yum!

My DH eats a large Tupperware (the ones that hold 6-8 cups) of mixed greens, half a bell pepper, cheddar cheese and homemade vinaigrette..... Every SiNGLE night while dinner is cooking.
His lack of variety drives me nuts (I worry he misses out getting all his vitamins from eating same fruits/veg day in day out).

Last night was really good- or maybe we were both just starving after being out much later than planned:
Chicken pesto burger with melted Swiss and Arizona mustard
Roasted zucchini and bell pepper with garlic and onion powder

Tonight we are having crab cakes with jicama "fries"

My experience making creamed spinach made me realize how little there is to fresh greens. They shrink to nothing. So he's not really eating that much...

But yes, I try to get variety into things.
