Smile Day 53 - creeping along

Just creeping along. Have had a very slight upwards weight creep (in part more than likely due to a slowdown in bm's). 147.8.

Did measurements today and was happy - 37 - 28 - 36.

I'm really focusing on definition as primary before weight loss, so all in all I am still pleased.

My hard ab workout felt unusually easy this morning.

Day 53:

6:30 am - 15" (hard) Abs + 35" Tai Fit
3:15 pm - 30" elliptical (1.81 miles) + 20" 1 mile run.

Talking Day - 54 still truckin' along

Clocked in at 147.6 this morning. Seems to be a plateau or set point. (Also TOM is due any time). Obviously there is a calorie deficit going on, but it seems as though it is muscle/fat displacement as I can feel the ol' body toning up.

Going to start doing the hard abs daily.

Day 54:

6:45 am - 15" Abs (hard) + 15" Arms (10 lb dumbells) + 35" Tai Fit
3:45 pm - 45" Elliptical

Smile Losing track of the days!!

Yes I lost track of the days! I have, however, pretty much kept up daily exercise although my routine got garbled ever since the 10K.

New things... I am trying to increase the intensity of my weight workout rather than doing toning, actually doing some bulking. I feel that this may help deal with the temporary issue of sagging skin by helping to fill out parts of my body that are collapsed from fat loss with muscle.

I continue to do pretty intense aerobics, particularly the ellipticals, to work the fat burn from that standpoint.

Talking Blowing away the cobwebs!

OMG... I can't believe I was doing all that last May and that I've slid so far back now (about 9 months ago I was doing great) !

39/32/40 38% body fat trying to get back to 36/28/35 and 29% body fat and stay there or improve!

We just bought a NordicTrack CX 1055 elliptical and put it together today. I did my first 30" workout and it was really great.

We have cancelled our gym membership because we haven't been able to make time to do it. When I sold my car, it made going to the gym inconvenient. However, we have purchased a nice weight set and weight bench as well and are looking forward to getting that set up and workable.

Smile Day 2 - Cardio!

30" elliptical (1 mile)
45" walking (2 miles) This is my M-F walk to school and back with my boys.

I'm hoping to get back to the Tai Fit, Tamilee's calisthenics, and weight lifting at some point here. I just need to get back my energy.

Talking Energy slowly coming back...

I don't know if it's lowering the carbs today, the sunshine, or what, but I've had more energy today, so I got back on the elliptical. I was sick the week before last week with a horrid virus, then it was spring break for the kids and I fell into a bit of depression, but at least the virus is finally all gone now.

35" elliptical / 1.44 miles
45" walking / 2.0 miles

I desperately want to keep this good feeling. I always feel absolutely fantastic after doing the elliptical/aerobic stuff.

Cool Crummy weather, less energy

The weather was definitely crummy today. Overcast and cold. I also felt my energy lag in comparison to yesterday. Yesterday I even took the kids to the park and played soccer, tossed around the football and frisbee. Today I have less energy.

I also worked out after lunch today whereas yesterday I skipped lunch until very late.

45" walk (2 miles)
35" elliptical (1.33 miles)

Cool Rain and Snow!

I just can win with the weather! Today has been rainy with a little snow. Still I feel better than I did last week. I'm sure that the exercise helps.

45" - walking - 2 miles
35" - elliptical - 1.36 miles
