Default Bad timing, bad idea

My husband and I have gotten into a nice low carb routine. He sleeps in while I get up, make the coffee and cauliflower scramble. lol I LOVE the purple cauliflower. There's something about the color and it just seems firmer and more flavorful. Well, yesterday I looked in the veggie bin and it was all gone. So I went down to the grocery store at 7 am. Which, to me is the most dangerous time. It's fresh donut time. Along with the cauliflower I brought home a maple-glazed long john. Without saying a word my husband got a knife and cut it in half. We ate it while watching t.v. and drinking coffee. Never even discussing that it was a BIG no-no. I spent the rest of the day feeling nauseous. I don't know if it was because of guilt. the sugar or both. This morning I wake up and he's already out in the kitchen making our cauliflower breakfast routine. He hands me a cup of coffee and says, "Well, we won't do that again."
