LOL! 100% correct. Similar winter dish: kitchen sink soup, aka "cream of leftover" or "soupe de yesterday".

Tonight's dinner: tuna salad made with yogurt feta dressing on lettuce leaves.

Heh. Kitchen sink vs. clean out the fridge = same result

Tonight we had .. lemon pepper sole fillets, sautéed in butter, steamed broccoli and a small carrot. Dessert (diet jell-o + full-fat greek yogurt + fresh berries). Chardonnay

Mviesprite- those stuffed avid sound delicious. How long did you make them?

Most fun dinner last week was sunday. I was at state fair:
Chicken on a stick (Greek kabob type of deal)
Roasted almonds
Giant at eggcream snow cone
Freshly brewed ideas tea

....would think at an agricultural show, they would have some.veggies that weren't deepfried.... You would be wrong.

Tonight was sooo good- butternut squash Mac and cheese (found Cece's in produce area of whole foods). For half the package it's 14 carbs after fiber and really hit spot for Mac and cheese craving! It says 3.5 servings, but I would say it is two as an entree.

Snack- Greek yogurt and cinnamon pumpkin seeds, sparkling pear peach water and a strawberry sparkling water.

Robin - I followed this recipe:
https://salu-salo.com/chicken-stuffed-avocado/

It was 10 min and I used the toaster oven. Still too warm to blast the kitchen with the oven. They were really good - I'd make them again.

ooooo you did well at the fair. I went today to our Great county fair and did not do well. I avoided sugary stuff but the rest was not on plan.

Tonight and for a few days:
Skinny Buffalo Chicken Salad w/Blue Cheese Dressing
I've made this before and it's good!

^Bookmarked - I'll have to try that some time. I'm not sure I've ever had cooked avocado, though I guess you're really just warming up the chicken and melting the cheese, for the most part.

Last night's dinner: smoked sausage with cucumber/tomato salad, which had homemade yogurt/feta dressing.

Tonight: cubed beef that's been marinating overnight, and I'll do it in tomato puree in the Instant Pot. Mashed cauli on the side.

Sauce spread thinly on paper plate, a little grated full-fat mozzarella, pepperoni, a little more cheese...zap in micro and yum!

Ooh, thanks for that recipe! Will have to try it.

Last week's most fun dinner was at my parents.
Green salad with super fresh tomatoes and balsamic
Couple ounces while we were catching up
Entree was a thai coconut shrimp burger which was delicious.

Last night was trader Joe's riced cauli bowl with tofu. I love it for nights when my husband won't be home and I'm on my own. Threw half an avocado on top.I
STrawberry sparkling water, wasabi seaweed snacks and wasabi roasted edamame for snacks.

Last night I tried a cauliflower Mac and cheese undoing in produce area by Ark. Aargh- didn't realize. It was vegan and made with potato starcj. I always check ingredients, but I was rushing bc it was painfully cold in the store and just looked at carbs
On top of that, it wasn't cut any special.way. It was just cauli florets with vegan cheese sauce. Very disspointing!
Stick to cece's butternut Mac and cheese (i found at whole foods in produce).
I ate it, bc I love cauli, but this did.not remind me of veggY noodles.in any way, and the sauce was blerg.
I also had scrambled eggs with butter and swiss, which I always love.
Guns found a sparkling water i have never had- BlackBerry bubly- I added a little vanilla Sugar free torani for an Italian soda with lots of ice. Actually I had 2. Yum!!!!!!!

Snacks were wasabi seaweed snacks, Siracha nada beans (yum!), And a large mug sf hot cocoa.

2 nights ago we went out for Korean bbq (you grill all you can eat meats on table-super fun, but your hair will reek of meat after ).
I had loads of bulgogi chicken, lemon chicken and soy (sauce not vegetarian) chicken, pickled radish/daikon/kim chi, etc..... Also grilled some veggies on table- bell peppers and onions. And I drank so much water- have been terribly thirsty.
Snack was very dark chocolate and a sf hot cocoa.

last night was Rosh Hashanah -huge family party
We had salmon, broccoli, roasted carrots and parsnips, and dessert was homemade sf macaroons that Dad made me
Also has like 3 lemon sparkling waters.

Tonight will be leftovers!

Been stupid busy - no time for anything but the basics... but today is my day off and I made a pepperoni meatza - sauteed green pepper and onions to go on it too, and forgot to put on the sauce!! So I mixed up the sauce and will cut it sandwich style with sauce in the middle... OY.*** I just tried it and it's good! Even sauceless it would have been fine, but the whole point was to use up the leftover tomato paste I had...

Robin your food sounds so good. ooooo blackberry sparkly water. YUM.
I would have been disappointed in the vegan cauli mac n cheese too...

The meatza sounds good to me!

Tonight i'm looking forward to a big bowl of butternut squash soup with extra carrots/onion/celery thrown in and smothered in cheddar
Lime sparkling water with coconut torani

Will have hot chocolate and Greek yogurt with peanut butter and cinnamon for a snack.

Went out last night with big group of out of town friends. They picked an Italian place as they were running marine corps marathon today
I had great dinner-
Side salad with homemade Italian dressing
Big bowl of minestrone (left pasta, but it had huge chunks of celery, zuchini, carrots.... Yum!).
Sampler appetizer- shrimp cocktail, crab stuffed mushrooms and clams stuffed with bacon and parm (few bread crumbs but not much)
Diet coke, water with lemon
At home, snacked on seaweed snacks and roasted peanuts

Tonight- big bowl of broccoli mac n cheese (used shirataki).....yum!!!!!!!
Orange sparkling water
Pumpkin steamer (heated pumpkin, almond milk, cinnamon and sf torani pumpkin spice syrup).

Most likely will snack on seaweed snacks and peanuts again, watermelon sparkling water.
