hi deb,

here's a carb/calorie down menu for me. you could adjust it to get a bit more calories if you wanted. i don't go too low on my carbs for carb down but i really watch the calories, seems to do the trick. good luck

meal plan for today:

breakfast
2 eggs in ghee
3 strips bacon

snack
small apple with 2tabs almond butter

lunch
4 oz hamburger
sauteed kale with ground flax, olive oil, tamari

snack
2 rye crisps with 2 tab hummus

dinner
shrimp 4 oz
cocktail sauce
broccoli

1250 cals
not sure on the carbs cause of the hummus. my guess is that i'm getting somewhere around 50g of carbs

Hi Nepeta:

Could oyu, also, post a carb up menu? I just want to see what is the ratio of carb/fat on a carb up days? I've beein doing some cycling but without counting carbs/fat ratio on different days. Need to get more structural menus.
Thanks a lot,
Dina

here's pretty close to what i would eat during carb up. i also may throw in an extra piece of bacon or egg for breakfast. sometimes the meat servings get a tad larger than 4 ounces. just depends on how hungry i am that day.

breakfast
2 eggs in ghee
3 strips bacon
sometimes i'll add a 1/2 of a grapefruit as well

snack
small apple with 2tabs almond butter

lunch
4 oz hamburger
sauteed kale with ground flax, olive oil, tamari
1/2 cup butternut squash

snack
handful of grapes, rice crackers with tunafish

dinner
12 pieces of sushi with brown rice, salmon, avocado
small salad
