Here I am.

The kids are back from spring break with the grandparents. It's a mad house as I expect it will be for a few days. After the birthday pig out and the awful cold I have had all week I have no idea where my weight is but it is bound to be scary. I will suck it up and get on the scale tomorrow. I am signing up for the two week induction challenge on monday as well. I need to get back on the wagon fast before it carries me out of sight.

I am so happy you are all doing a new challenge. I will aim for 12 pounds by May Day (secretly wishing for 15). Are we still going to weigh in on Fridays?

Hi Hi, I'm in, with a bit more realistic goal this time - I'll go for 7 lbs. by May 1. Am doing a re-induction challenge that starts on Monday, so am hoping that will help. Can everyone say NO ALCHOHOL oh god it hurt just to type it but there it is.I wish I could go to Dublin and meet up with ya'll. I was there 2 years ago with my eldest daughter and we also drove across the country, what a wonderful place you are living in.

Glenellen,

You might want to join in on the re-induction thread (we're starting Monday) in the atkins section. Everyone there is all excited to get going again, even I am going to do it and I hate induction.

Hi all!
I did get on the scale. It was up 3 pounds.I don't think it was all in the cheat cause TOM is here. All water weight I guess. Anyway I am back on induction tomorrow too. I am craving fried rice like crazy. I tried the foux stuff but it tasted so much like cauliflower it was very disappointing.

Thanks Carmel I'll give it a try. I think I want that rice texture (not to mention the salt). Down 2 pounds now so I guess it is water weight.

I'm doing pretty well food-wise, haven't cheated, but I did go out and drink a bunch of wine the other night, and I was trying so hard to get through 2 weeks without drinking. Can anyone say ALCOHOLIC?

Am not weighing til Monday and am definitely expecting to see a loss, if I don't ya'll will probably hear me screaming all the way over there in Ireland. This is my first time going more than a day without weighing myself, its been since Monday and I actually like it, seems to take off a bit of pressure.

Keep fighting the good fight -

Liz

Hello all!
This has been an awwwwffffulllllll week! Thank goodness it is almost over. I am having TOM as I may have mentioned and it is terrible. I am crampy and headachy and sick feeling. I got on the scale today and was up 3 pounds. I know it is fluid cause my fingers feel funny and fat.
I went through all my boys baby things yesterday and gave them all to a lady who really needs them but it was so sad. Maybe it's the hormones. I think I am going insane. Laughing and crying and cranky all at once. The kids think I've lost it (I know because the said as much). When will it all end.
Sorry about the rant. I'm off to cry in my tea.

PS. WTG Glenellen. I am happy for you. Good luck with the confirmation. Have a drink for me. What is life if you can't celebrate it.
