hey john! that's fantastic. i just made that recipe out of head as i was typing! i just thought of good things that go together! hehehehe! sometimes the best things are things we just throw together, eh! i'm going to try it myself. i usually eat tofu for brekkie, but this would make and interesting change. what flavour sweetener did you use? i've got several different sf flavours in my basement fridge!

Thumbs up Hi Debbie

Hello again,

Debbie, I added just a pinch of Keto Sweet, suger free sweetener, has 0 calories, fat, sodium, or protein. But what amazed me was how real it tasted like sugar. No weird after taste like nutrasweet types.
But warning, add very little. I used to put 1-2 teaspoons of sugar in my coffee, I put less than a half of one of this stuff in my de-caf one morning and boy what that a shock. Very strong stuff!

I actually tired one more time, with the coffee and found I liked it better without anything in it!

I'm going to do the "debbie protein shake mix" again tomorrow and see if the effect repeats the same power / endurance I had today. Ran straight through all day with energy to spare

Again, thanks for the tip, and I'll keep you posted.
Cheers, John

Question debbie - flax seed / flax seed oil

Hello Debbie and all,

Have you tried "your" mix of the protein shake yet?

Question: Where in a supermarket do I find "flax seed or
flax seed oil" ??? I tried looking in the olive oils and spice
type areas with no luck.
What is it? What are the benefits?

I tried the "shake mix" for breakfast again Saturday, seemed to
do the trick again. Lot's of energy again! I will try this for
breakfast for a week and see what happens.

Cheers, John

Hi John,

You have to go to a natural foods store to get it.

Talking debbiedobson/Karen, The journey continues..

Hello to all,

It's been a while since I posted in my own thread. Wanted to keep you posted on progress.

Have stayed the course for a little over a month now. BOY am I a loser!! Approx 4-inches off the waist! WOW, I'll say it again, WOW. I can't believe the results of this WOL! Got my hair cut tonight and my friends wife who cuts my hair noticed when she put the cape around my neck, she didn't have it on the last notch.
Approx lost 1-1/2 to 2-inches around my neck?!?! Again...WOW!

My (now) old blue jeans would fall right off me without a belt. Found some old clothes, that I haven't worn it years, tried them on and they FIT! Again..... WOW!

I know I'm beginning to sound silly by now, but this has got to be one of the most amazing things thats happen to me in a very long time. I am literally blown-away / amazed at the results from this plan / WOL !

I did slow / stop, in the weight loss for about 1-week. Felt like nothing was happening. Waited it out and BANG, have we go again!

It's getting a little scary, I don't have the momentum (weight) to pick-up heavy items anymore. Still have good strength and muscle mass, but can't "swing / lift" , pick up items now.

I'm just amazed over everything. So many people have noticed the change in my appearance too. Hope you all are doing well in your own personal journeys.

Cheers, John(the loser)

WTG John, congrats on the inches lost.

Not sure about the lifting issue though, is this in terms of work-outs? I notice that my lifting limit is quite the same, but with low-carbing, I get less repitetons. This is due to low glucose in the muscles to burn, since the energy available to burn on low-carb is fat.

Nothing to be concerned about, since you can up the carbs when you're close to goal.

For more details, post the question to Dan in the exercise forum, he probably can give more details on the topic.

Thumbs up hello tamarian

Thanks for the comments.

The "lifting" is not "work out" related. Rather work related.
ie: emptying a 55-gallon barrel, we use as a trash container.

Before I could, throw my body into it / swing / lift, a pretty heavy amount of weight. Now, I (lol) don't have the body weight to use as momentum, to assist in lifting it.

Weird feeling,... that is, being lighter on "my" feet!

I have been reading TrainerDan's posts for a while now, as well as many others for information. I do plan to continue a weight lifting / work out plan. Have just recently started working out again. Have been reading Dan's posts about what he eats and does for a work out. Very informative.

Again, thanks for your comments,
Cheers, John
