Default feeling huge and great friends

Well. I have been feeling really good about myself. Clothes fitting more lose, getting compliments etc.. Then, yes there is always a then...at work we had something called wellness testing. They do various tests and monitor your readings year to year. If your health is in danger, you get referred to a doctor on the spot. (you also get paid bucks to go through the tests) anyway, all of my blood work was optimal, but then the body fat and weight tests came up. 33% BMI which puts me as obese. I was informed that I need to lose 50lbs to be at my "optimal" healty weight. Hmmmmm, so after that I met up with a bunch of work friends and we were discussing our tests and how they went, my reply was "I am a tremendously healty obese lard ass that needs to lose 50lbs". The table got instantly quiet. Then they started giving me crap about joking around, about how I was anything but obese, and if I lost 50lbs I would look like total crap. I instantly felt better. Life is made better by the friends that you keep. I will, of course, strive to keep losing weight, but knowing that my blood work is perfect and eating low carb will keep me losing. I will be O.K.

So your blood work was optimal! And it looks like you are making wonderful progress.

I just tell myself they are all wrong about nutrition.
