There's a saying I learned on another forum regarding dealing with toxic people that you can't completely avoid (i.e. family, coworkers): feed them with a long-handled spoon, which is what it sounds like you are doing. I hope things have improved, or at the very least aren't getting any worse between you.

i wrote a comment back in April.
a couple of weeks ago, my sister attacked me in emails about how my son was spending his inheritance...
i asked her what rock she crawled out from under!
my sister situation is jealousy.

i hope you can work through y'alls issues before you get to be my age!
