Default New to everything!!!

I am new to having PCOS just diagnosed October, 2001. I have been in denial and not admitting that I have PCOS. I am currently taking Glucophage and having a horrible time with side effects (mainly diarreha). I just started low carbing this week (Atkins). and was wondering if anyone is having success with the Atkins program? I am also concerned about menstral cycles and when you see results of them getting better? I am currently 2 months without AF. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi amy!

I don't have PCOS and if there are no people around with PCOS, it may take a while for your post to be read by someone who completely understands. But, I did dig up an inspirational post for you on the subject.

Look through the PCOS forum too, and jump into the conversations. Have you ever seen the soulcysters website? Its a great resource for PCOS and promotes a low carb way of life.
