I did have a lot of my aches and pains disappear when I went gluten free. I think everyone should give a trial to gluten free and see how they feel. There are so many ways it can affect you. Some folks I've talked to on another forum use B12 methylcobalmin (or something spelled similar to that) sublingually to help with neuropathy. I think gluten can probably cause it as well as diabetes.

I woke up this morning with a BG of 126!!!! What the heck? I haven't eaten any carbs to speak of. But last night I did eat a lot of meat, far more than I normally do. Only other possible culprit is a pumpkin custard I made but the only carbs were the few in pumpkin. *sigh*

Nancy I feel your pain. It's got to be frustrating. And don't you have the thyroid issue going on as well? Trying to get hormones balanced is not fun.

Thanks, Becky. I'm thinking the Berberine isn't really working for me. The thyroid levels are coming down a bit. In another couple of weeks I should be back to a more normal realm. But I'll stick with the BHCL and see if that helps once the thyroid is more normal.

I did order some Banaba, reading how it works it might be just the thing I need.

We've been having dry cool weather and I have no aches at all today. No tingling and no numbness. so if it's caused by diabetes or prediabetes I never knew that weather affected it. I feel like a new woman when the weather gets like this. When it's really humid I ache all over and feel like I'm 80.
