It's important to let people know that the general knowledge that we get from the CDC about Lyme Disease is antiquated. Most people who suffer from Lyme are misdiagnosed as having lupus, MS, and a variety of other diseases. And most insurance companies stop paying for antibiotics and treatment because they go by the accepted outdated standards.
BTW I have known so many people here in MA with Lyme disease that it really is the epidemic no one talks about!

What I hate about the ALDF.National institute for health and the CDC is tjhay keep publishing the word you used is absolutly correct (antiquated)!!
I was tested every year from 1988 till about 2000 at different hospitals because I had all the symptoms.over the years until finaly in 2001 It got so bad I searched for a LLMD {A Dr that is willing to learn about lyme. "Lyme literacy" means, first and foremost, knowing how to diagnose the disease accurately. Borrelia Burgdorferi is a
clinical diagnosis,
based on symptoms and on your response to treatment.} and found one in PA.

Imatates diseases like these ALS,MS,Cronic Fatige,Fibromialga,Parkensons, irritable bowel,on and on and on.
It isnt easy to cure although its easier if you start abx's quickly at high doses even then it can be hard to eradicate out of our bodies.
I was foirst infected in 1988 and still fighting it started treatment 2001 this disease has the ability to hide from the immune system als it can turn itself spirochete into cyst form coccoid form bleb form and hide inside our cells it likes tissue any kind it corkscrews itself into it mucle ,bone, cartilage nevouse system, etc. It also can cause heart block it is was more formatable than there letting people Know! Then there are a long lest of coinfections which in itself are nasty.
