Default Braised cabbage

I will figure out how to make pics smaller!

This is a staple here...we use it as a small side for everything...meat, eggs, salad. It's delish! All the kids love it too.

Sautéed onion and garlic, shredded cabbage, stewed tomato, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper.

Default Cooking day

I think it's essential to have ready to go foods prepared ahead of time to give us something to grab in hunger emergencies. Hubby also likes to have a wide variety to put in his lunch.

So today is my "assemble and precook everything in the fridge" day

I making:
sautéed cabbage (above)
2 ground pork dishes (pics to follow!)
2 days worth of salad basics

Yumyumyumyum

We lots of zucchini so this is another side dish I prepare a ton of and eat on the side of anything. Great burger topping with goats cheese!

basically just sautéed some onion and bell pepper (3/4 cup each) with fresh garlic and salt until soft. Add thinly sliced zucchini (I had a HUGE one, approx 7 cups) and a sliced tomato. Let simmer for 1/2 hr or until zucchini is very soft. Add seasonings to taste (garlic onion cayenne)
