I didn't think I could either - but I did.

Maybe it's not necessary for you. I struggled for many years before I experimented with going dairy-free. If you're losing with dairy in your diet, maybe you don't need to get rid of it.

WTG! Costello

Back after a week away (and very much off plan) and noticed Dr, Davis is repeating his successful WheatBelly challenge from March. Today, April 6, is about dairy. He notes 1 in 5 are sensitive to the whey protein which would hinder weight loss. A number of comments posted already.

Our #WheatBellyRevolution Challenge is on Day 6. For those people having difficulty with weight loss, despite having given up wheat and other grains in our challenge, you may be experiencing the insulin triggering effects of the whey protein in dairy (a problem for 1 in 5 people). This can stall weight loss. The only way I know to determine if this is your weight loss issue is to eliminate dairy for 4 weeks. If you're sensitive to the whey protein, this adjustment should get your weight loss back on track. Who's losing weight?

Fascinating thread!

Is anyone using Ghee, either store bought, or homemade?
I really prefer ghee to butter... it has a much higher cook temperature, and a delightful "toffiness" to it, IMO.

I make my own at times. I really should be more consistent about it.

Thanks, Janet. I went over and added my testimony.

I've never tried ghee. Maybe some day when I add butter back, I'll give it a try.

I weighed in at 174.8 this morning. I don't want to do anything that might screw things up!
