Unhappy Bad day..Cheated on 2nd day of induction!

I am only on day 2 of induction and ALREADY cheated. I feel really bad. I was doing so well, but today I thought I would eat just the toppings of one slice of pepperoni pizza. I did this...and then it was like the rest of the pizza was waiting to be eaten. So I made my first mistake by deciding one tiny bite will satisfy this craving.
Ugh! I ate the entire piece instead. So from now on...No pizza toppings until I gain lots of willpower
Will this one mistake screw up my induction? I am starting again tommorow. Praying for more willpower..less temptations.

Stephanie

just start over on your induction--your first whole day of success is Day 1. You can do this!

I think it's best for most of us to stay entirely away from our danger carbs (usually sugar, grains, and potatoes--I don't meet many new LCers who have problems bingeing on lentils! lol) entirely for a couple months. Just physically stay away to the greatest extent you can. Soon you'll be able to look a carb in the "eyes" and shrug, passing it by....but while the addiction is still in full force, it's hard to be strong enough to resist the siren call of carbs all around us (many here are, like Karen, but I cannot count myself among them!)

HTH! Hang in with us!

You know what i do when i eat only the LC part of a carb food (i.e. hamburger, pizza) - I pull out the LC part and throw the other either in the trash or down the garbage disposal before I even start eating the LC part - keeps it from even being an option!
