Unhappy Alcohol

I need to start up again free and clear, cause I get bored, or my friends and i go out...i always end up screwing it up and having a drink...I should be 30 lbs lighter by now....Grrrrr

According to this article, it is alright to drink some wine or hard liquor! Also, it is good to know that it does not raise insulin.

I have read the same information however apparently alcohol For many people one drink leads to another exactley like sugar.

If you can keep your intake to 1 drink occasionally it shouldn't hinder your plan.

"When alcohol is present in the body, the liver works to metabolize it. Because the liver is busy metabolizing alcohol, it is often not able to adequately maintain blood sugar levels, which may result in hypoglycemia (low levels of blood sugar). Hypoglycemia is most likely to occur in individuals who have not maintained an adequate diet . When it occurs, the brain is not able to receive the energy it needs to function, and symptoms such as hunger, weakness and headaches"

Not that I am advocating drinking.. but I usually drink crown and diet soda.. a few of them. am still losing weight.
