Default Question for the pro's !

I have been low carbing for a while,I do exersize and walk but i have the dreaded 2 fat rolls around my middle...... They are not really large but need firming.I do not have any equipment at home so?

Does anyone have any certain exersizes for these two trouble spots that really work.

Any input from the firm stomach gals would be great.! Thanks

hey cygirl....

Good old fashioned sit-ups and crunches will help tighten those stomach muscles.

But.... unfortunately no exercise will help spot reduce fat. Trust me, I'd love to get rid of my rolls too! The fat will come off where it wants to and when it wants to. Doing abdominal exercises will help firm and tone those abdominal muscles but won't help take fat off that specific area.

Kiks

P.S. I hate abdominal exercises myself but I still do them!

Not off hand....

I have books at home. I'm sure your local library would have some good resources for you.

Ladies Home Journal has an excellent site. In their diet and fitness section they have how to exercises to work different parts of your body. They are little videos with an animated lady doing the moves. Hope this helps.

Cygirl,

When you say you exercise and walk, how long do you do each activity and how often?

Also, are you weight training at all?

I would love to do weight training but just dont get out to the gym.....
I do tapes at home and walk my dogs once a day and take a good night walk when i can.
Maybe when winter comes i wll invest in the bow-flex.
I have allot of different tapes and really dont stay with one all the time.
I like changing all the time.
