Default Lc bounty chocolate bars..(coconut)

I made these today for the kids and they were very similiar to the real Bounty chocolate bars and lovely..

1/2 can of coconut milk..
1/2 cup of sweetner...
1&1/2 cups of shredded coconut.
1 bar of lindt dark chocolate(i used 70%)
1 tbsp of butter...

Put top 2 ingrediants in a saucepan untill melted, then add as much coconut as to form it all together and mix well till all stuck together..
Remove from heat let cool for a few minutes, then form them into shapes,i just did balls,(although i made them a tad bit to large)next time i will try to form them into bar shapes..put them on some greased proof paper and refrigerate them for over an hour, they should feel firm by this time..

Then melt chocolate with the butter and dip the coconut balls into it,then leave to refridgerate again untill firm...
These came out with just the right amount of sweetness for me,but you could add sweetner to the melted chocolate if you wanted to,this would make them taste a bit more like the commercial bars...
These are a big hit in my house and i will be ,making these again..

Oh yeah i found for the size of balls i made there wasnt enough melted chocolate to cover 2 of them, but you could always add more chocolate or butter to stretch it futher,,these would be great as little chocolate box treats..

These sound good. When I have some free time I'll have to try them.
