Had dinner at the local Spoons tonight. Ordered a California burger w/o bun, and tomatoes instead of fries. Another at our table opted for the menu item "Low Carb Turkey burger w/ veggies." We were surprised to see a rather large serving of cooked carrots on the LC Turkey burger plate. My burger was tasty but when the bill arrived there was a 59 cent charge for "starch substitution", the first time I have ever been charged for substituting tomatoes for potatos. Hope more of their customers complain as we did, maybe they will change their policy and truly serve their LC customers.
