Default carbs burned with excercise?

I binged tonight, so I did a very intense weight session for 45 min hoping to make up for some of the damage done. I was in ketosis before I started in on that bag of Doritos. I was wandering how many carbs does a person use when excercising? Any chance that I will go back into ketosis soon?

It just got me thinking, I think to much Thanks

Hi there,

I asked myself the same question some time ago, Google said (forgot the link though, so I have nothing to back it up, sorry) that the amount of carbs you burn depends of the intensity of your workout, the numbers were :

low intensity: 10% carbs 90% fat
medium intensity: 50% carbs 50% fat
high intensity: 90% carbs 10% fat

So if I walk (low intensity) for an hour I burn about 300 calories, so around 30 of these calories come from carbs. As a g of carb has 4 calories, I have then burned 7,5 g carbs.

I have no idea how accurate this really is, so treat with caution

My goodness, I had figured that we used more carbs when excercising. They say we have a higher carb tollerance if we excercise. I was just wondering, I know, its a bit odd. Thanks
