Default Duplicate Post - How to Remove

Is it possible to remove an unintentional duplicate post?
Sometimes this happens when the internet slows down momentarily and it makes you think you haven't clicked the submit button properly.
How can a duplicate post be removed?

Please use the report tool, located at the top right of the post in question, to alert the moderators. We'll be happy to delete the post for you.

The forum database undergoes daily maintenance and backup between 03:00 - 04:00 Central Time. This is when members tend to notice the slowing and posting "hiccups" as you mentioned. Sorry for the inconvenience
