Question Anyone else's ears ringing?

I noticed for the past couple of weeks that my ears are constantly ringing. I don't notice, or pay attention to it, during the day. But, at night, or when it's quiet, I definately notice it.

I'm on day 30 and doing pretty well...

Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this

Have you ever had high blood pressure? Right before I began this woe I had gone to the doctor because my ears hurt and I had a ringing in them. He had told me that if my blood pressure got any higher then it would be a problem, and that the bp and a slight ear infection were the reasons that I heard the ringing.

On a positive note. Since I have began this wol my bp has dropped and I no longer hear voices, I mean ringing, in my head.

You might want to do a search on the web for "tinnitis"... that's the medical term. I did a quick search here and came up with this thread .

Hi ump3,

I suffer from tinnitis in my left ear. Mine was caused by an ear infection I got thru swimming in a less than clean lake (before I started eating low carb). Get your ears checked out in case of infection. I've been following this way of eating for some time and haven't noticed it make any difference one way or the other.

A little tip if you are stuck with it. This may sound silly but it works for me. Install an aquarium in your bedroom with an air pump. You will not notice the ringing so much and the sound of the bubbles is soothing - costs a lot less than the 'white noise' machines available and is a lot more natural.

regards

Robert.

I've had the same problem since I started Induction (I'm at 18 days), and I've never had high blood pressure, I haven't taken aspirin in at least 20 years, and I don't have an ear infection. I have no idea why this is, but it's very irritating. I've noticed in the last few days that it's almost disappeared, so maybe there's hope for you, too!
Good luck!
N.
